Ken Carlter is a French and Tahitian filmmaker, writer, composer, and entrepreneur based in Los Angeles, California. A multi-hyphenate, self-taught artist and cultural pioneer, he has established himself as a true "Creative CEO" capable of transforming ancestral traditions into globally scalable entertainment franchises.

Originally from French Polynesia, Ken Carlter first gained prominence as the creator of "Tahitian Pop." As the first Tahitian artist to sign with Sony Music RCA Records, he achieved widespread commercial success, charting singles on iTunes Top charts across numerous countries (France, Spain, Brazil, Belgium, Switzerland, Hong Kong, Norway...). In 2019, his national hit "Ia Ora Na" flooded the airwaves of major French radio stations, including NRJ, Fun Radio, and France Bleu. In 2021, he made a lasting impression by leading his musical trio, Amui, to 3rd place in the public vote during the grand finale of France's Eurovision selection on France 2.

A builder of empires and a visionary, Ken Carlter co-founded Heiva i Paris in 2014 with his wife, Serena Forgeas Carlter. Together, they structured this unique momentum by creating HIP'S LEAGUE, the world's premier and most-followed Tahitian dance platform, hosting major competitions in Paris, Los Angeles, Bora Bora, and across the globe. Operating in complete independence and mastering every technical dimension of filmmaking, from directing and cinematography to advanced editing and music scoring, Ken Carlter’s digital productions have surpassed the stratospheric milestone of 2 billion cumulative views, capturing a global audience of over 4 million followers.

This unique trajectory and artistic excellence have earned him major institutional recognition: in 2024, he became the first Tahitian filmmaker to receive the prestigious CNC Talent Award in France for the documentary series Heiva i Paris, Season 2.
